Morning Walk on the San Francisco Bay Trail

On a morning walk along the San Francisco Bay, I came across a communal roost of pelicans, egrets, cormorants, and small shorebirds resting on a headland. The birds looked like comfortable old friends meeting for a morning coffee. Birds of a different feather flocking together. We can learn from them.

About the Bay Trail:

The Bay Trail is a walking and cycling trail that spans over 300 miles around the entire San Francisco Bay. The trail connects communities to parks, open spaces, and provides an alternative commute corridor. For more information about the Bay Trail visit Baytrail.org.
