Nostalgia for Autumn in New England

Each year when autumn arrives, I am overcome with nostalgia for my days growing up in New England. Crisp cool air, tree leaves changing to golds, oranges, and reds, apple picking, and the anticipation of Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays were the joys of autumn in my hometown. My favorite time of year to visit New England is fall, and soon I will journey back to spend time with friends and family. I can’t wait to be there.

  1. My favorite time of year there too! Missing it more and more every year. I think I once heard that New England has the most vibrant changes in color than anywhere else in the world!
