Today, a selection of street details that caught my eye in Los Gatos, California. I was drawn to the patina of aged wood and painted corrugated metal siding on the backside of a shop called Natural Creations. Plants growing on the inside of the shop peeked through cracks in the structure. A toy dog was humorously placed in the hole of a knot in the wood siding.
Other elements that caught my eye were vibrant colors, textures, and interesting shapes. I liked the bold blue of an Exit sign, a fire engine red door, pumpkin-colored trim with tile accents, as well as, the orange and green textured patterns of a slate tile. Each of these elements tells a story in and of themselves, but more than that, they also tell a story about what catches my eye.
Inspiration: Story.
Oh yes, I like you peeks and catches.Never a dull moment with an eye like that. 🙂
Thanks, Manja. It’s fun hunting for interesting things to snap.
