After many weeks of wet, cold weather, the sun is once again shining in California. With a strong case of cabin fever, instead of staying inside and working at the computer, I hopped in the car and headed to Los Gatos yesterday to stretch my legs and walk around the lovely town. Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Los Gatos offers plenty of places to eat, boutique shops, galleries, and an old-style movie theater. It’s one of our favorite places to hang out on a Sunday afternoon.
As a lover of interesting doors, I couldn’t resist capturing a few beauties along my walk. If you haven’t visited Los Gatos, it’s a worthy destination. Please enjoy.
This post was inspired by Thursday Doors. A day late but better late than never.
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature sponsored by Norm Frampton allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world.
It certainly looks to be a worthy destination. Nice finds 🙂
Thank you, Norm. Los Gatos is a lovely spot.
Feels like home, your blog now. 🙂 I love the one before last the most.
Thanks so much. I feel the same way about your blog.
My favorite small town! Oh, how I miss LG…..!
Best town in the Bay Area. Miss going there with you.
Really interesting door surrounds. Sometimes I think they are more interesting than the doors themselves. Nice post. Next time I’m in the vicinity, Los Gatos looks like the place to be.
Thank you, Debi. So true about the door surrounds. A few of these buildings had quite ornate surrounds with simple doors.

A cheery looking spot.
The town does have a good vibe.
