Whenever I visit family in Connecticut, the Pond House Café in West Hartford tops my list of places to go for delicious food and inspirational seasonal gardens. Per tradition, after a tasty lunch in the Café with my parents, we strolled through the gardens to admire the summer blooms. Notice how doors and windows are artfully placed in the gardens. They add an interesting structural element that lures guests to take a closer look at the lush green landscape and vibrant floral blooms. Enjoy the views!

What a wonderful place! I can see why it tops your list
of must visit destinations.
Thank you, Sandy. It is a wonderful, relaxing place.

My kind of doors and windows. Love them all. I think I need a road trip. 🙂
Thanks, Judy. I’m glad you enjoyed them and you will enjoy them even more in person! I hope you get a chance to go there. BTW –
The Pond House Cafe is located in Elizabeth Park, the oldest public rose garden in the country.
