“If months were marked by colors, November in New England would be colored gray.” -Madeline M. Kunin
Goodbye warm, reds and golds of October. Hello cold, gray days of November. I’m back in New England for the Thanksgiving Holiday with my family. After a dreary, rainy morning we ventured out to Countryside Park in Avon, Connecticut where the inviting colors of Autumn had transformed into a drab, lifeless landscape. We didn’t stay long. The frigid, gusty winds of the late afternoon chased us home.
Inspiration: Transformation.
The transformation shown in the two photos of the covered bridge is striking! Good take on the photo theme. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Debi. Happy Thanksgiving!
Amazing transformations!
Thank you, Dahlia.
This is in a way sad but it as per your description, it is a necessary cycle.
Yes. It is a sad time of year until the snow comes and brightens the landscape.
