Thursday Doors – Greek Blues

Oh, how I miss the white-washed homes and vibrant blues of Greece. We skipped our annual summer visit to Greece this year, and I’m sure I don’t need to tell you why. Photographs and memories will lift our spirits until we feel it’s safe to travel again.

Here are a few throwback Thursday Doors from our past visits to Greece. Enjoy!

  1. Sorry you had to miss Greece this summer! Can imagine, that kind of blue is my favorite in my paintings – it kinda grows on one. Also, it looks so clean. Many thanks for the fond memories!

    1. Thanks, Jesh. We miss our friends and family in Greece. So far, everyone is healthy. Some friends enjoyed vacations at their summer homes, others decided to stay home. Hopefully, we will visit again next year.

  2. A beautiful collection. I just love that when someone says “greek blue” pretty much everyone knows exactly what colour they’re referring to.
Travel, even for short distances, is something many of us are missing right now, but when all of this is over we’ll just appreciate it that much more 🙂

    1. Thank you, Norm. If I didn’t say where the photos were taken, I’m sure many people would think of Greece. Agree about missing travel. My husband’s family is in Greece and my family is in Connecticut. We will sure appreciate seeing everyone when the pandemic is over. Stay well.
