This week the weather in the San Francisco Bay Area has been glorious. With temperatures in the mid 70s, we couldn’t resist heading to the coast with our dog, Buddy. Despite being mid-week, the town of Capitola had plenty of people lounging on the beaches, riding the waves, and enjoying drinks and good food at the seaside restaurants. One of the most distinctive places in this quaint town is the Venetian Hotel with its colorful painted cottages and doors. Enjoy the views. We sure did.

How lovely!! It’s been ages since I was last there.
Thx! Always a pleasure to visit Capitola. Yesterday was particularly nice with awesome clouds in the sky.
Late winter at the coast was always my favorite time of year.
Late winter at the coast is lovely. The climate is mild and the sun is softer than summertime. I need to get there more often!

Thanks! Capitola is a charming town.
Wow, I don’t remember those cottages at all. How pretty!
The cottages are at the end of Capitola Beach near the pier. They are really pretty.
