Oddball Photos from the Plaka Neighborhood of Athens

I’m sharing a handful of oddball photos I took in the Plaka neighborhood of Athens in September. These photos don’t fit into a common theme but the interesting nature and composition of these scenes caught my eye as we walked the streets of Plaka. If anything, the images show the eclectic nature of this neighborhood.

Great Greek spirit in this banner.
Fish Therapy? Fish nibbling on my toes, I think not.
The blue shutter first caught my eye, then I noticed the sign for “authentic turkish baths.” I found this a bit curious.
I simply loved the vibrant red of the shiny, “new” motorbike against the green netting covering the old, crumbling building.
Paint the scene pink – this black lantern stands out against the abstract street art.

This post was inspired by Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: 2016 Week 41.

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge (COB) is all about those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category.  We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them. – Cee’s Photography
