Behind the Green Door

The only visible signs of life inside this house in Nafplio, Greece are vines of greenery in search of sunlight through empty transom window panes and the green door left ajar. What else lies hidden behind the crumbling facade, weathered paint, and rusted windows of this once vibrant home? Happy memories of a good life by the sea?  I’d like to think so.

Inspiration: Thursday Doors.

      1. Yes. Though someone must have peeked inside because I took a picture of the same house a year prior and the door was closed, no vine growing from the inside out. 🙂

    1. Hi Manja,
I did notice the Greek-seeming door in your Thursday Doors post. So sweet of you to mention me along with that nice photo. What a lovely idea to share meaningful bits of info along with an equally meaningful photo for bloggers you follow!
I’ve been off my PC since Thursday afternoon, otherwise would have thanked you sooner. I look at & like posts on my phone but find I make too many typos if I try to write long responses on my phone. I guess this lack of ability dates me. 🙂
      Thanks again, Donna
