Morning Walk at Sandy Wool Lake

“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.” ~Ansel Adams

Yesterday was a good day in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was overcast but comfortably warm. A perfect day for a morning Camera Club outing at Sandy Wool Lake and Spring Valley Pond, both of which are located in the Ed R. Levin County Park. I’m a newbie at photographing nature, so my best photos were of birds at rest. The more advanced photographers captured wonderful photos of birds in flight. Someday I hope to get the action shots.

My cousin Carolyn captioned these bird images on my personal Facebook page. Her captions made me smile so I’m going to share them here.
