What a wonderful bit of world history/heritage! I stood there once many years ago and reveled in that history.
Whenever we are in Athens, we spend an afternoon in Plaka under this magnificent symbol of Greek heritage/history. It’s great you visited the Acropolis. The photo doesn’t do it justice.
We were both thinking Greece today! 🙂 Seeing this and visiting Greece has long been on my bucket list. My sisters and I are hoping that we can do a “sister’s 2018 trip” with a little Italy too. We’re shopping and planning now.
So cool you were thinking about Greece today! Synchronicity at it’s finest. What a fun sister’s trip you will have in Greece. Have you decided on which islands to see?
We’re planning to do a cruise, and looking at couple and haven’t narrowed it down to how many days we can actually be away, but we’d all love to see the BIG tourist attractions like the Acropolis, and some Temples.
It won’t be enough time either. I know that, but it will be a great scouting trip. 🙂
Fun! A cruise is a good way to sample places in Greece.
Lovely. It reminds me of my visit to Athens.
Nice photo…Greece is indeed a place of heritage!
Thank you, Anna.
